At Fieldside Pups we are excited to announce our Guardian Program! We love our dogs and puppies as part of our family and with our Guardian Program we can extend our family to your family! We are looking for families like ours that want to share their home, their family, and their hearts with a very special pup. Families must live within 30 minutes from Fieldside Pups!

What is a Guardian Home?

Guardian homes offer approved families a top quality Doodle for free. Your priority will be loving, caring and training the dog to be a part of your family. Your investment is your time for bringing the dog to us or arranging to have the dog picked up when we need it for testing, breeding or whelping. Also your investment will be paying for normal vet care, food and licensing after a dog is placed with your family.

We benefit as a breeder because we want what is best for our puppies. In a Guardian home we know they are getting adequate love and attention they deserve and we do not have to care for more dogs than we are comfortable with or can manage. We know each dog has a wonderful home as a puppy all the way to their older years.

Here are some of the qualities we are looking for in our Guardian Families :

• Families who are ready to invest some time and energy into training a puppy
• Families who are willing to pay for food, normal vet care and licensing
• Families who live within 30 minutes of Fieldside Pups
• Families who have a plan put together for how they will train and care for a puppy

Guardian Puppy Policies

• The Guardian family needs to feed the pup food and treats approved by Fieldside Pups. They will be provided with the dog food brand, amount and where to purchase it.
• If the dog becomes sick or injured, we need the family to notify Fieldside Pups immediately so we can be involved in all decisions regarding the treatment of the dog. In some situations the treatment may need to be specific if the dog is going to be bred soon, or is pregnant.
• The dog can not be left kenneled all day or outside all day, a proper puppy day plan will need to be in place so the dog can thrive and be healthy and happy.
• The dog will have obedience training so the dog has manners and good behavior. Fieldside Pups will work with the family on a training plan.
